Full description
This lovely nuno felted scarf combines the beauty of silk with the warmth and softness of wool. Natural white merino wool fibres overlaid with a piece of hand dyed silk chiffon in red, blue and purple, have been nuno felted together. This process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The result is a silk scarf with a soft woollen backing.
The scarf measures approximately 128cm x 21cm (50.4" x8.3"), long enough to tie in various ways. Cool in summer yet warm in winter this scarf would make a lovely addition to any outfit. The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions.
