My first love is making collages from used, vintage postage stamps - creating new artwork from otherwise utterly disposable and unloved ephemera. The prints that these stationery designs are taken from were originally collaged directly onto notebooks which have since found new homes. It makes me happy to see the life of these artworks extended even further, and to find their way into the hands of letter writers who will appreciate their many glimpses into a forgotten postal history...

Full description
A new Christmas notecard design (blank inside), printed from one of my original collages of vintage world postage stamps. The focal point of this design is the beautiful Isle of Man robin from Christmas 1980 (which always reminds me of the Secret Garden!).
CARDSTOCK
Professionally printed on 250gsm Italian cardstock, 'tintoretto gesso', which has a wonderfully tactile, lightly 'hammered' texture. It is a fountain pen-friendly surface, lovely to write on!
A ribbed kraft envelope is included: C6 size.
PACKAGING
Presented in a simple, self-seal cellophane packet.
