My first love is making collages from used, vintage postage stamps - creating new artwork from otherwise utterly disposable and unloved ephemera. The prints that these stationery designs are taken from were originally collaged directly onto notebooks which have since found new homes. It makes me happy to see the life of these artworks extended even further, and to find their way into the hands of letter writers who will appreciate their many glimpses into a forgotten postal history...

DETAILS
Each notecard in this set is decorated with a print of vintage world postage stamps, providing a perfect postal / travel-themed background for all your seasonal snail mail greetings. The designs are reproduced from my original collage artwork. The colours lend themselves to the festive season, but the designs are nicely non-specific, suitable for many different purposes and occasions.
CARDSTOCK
Professionally printed on 250gsm Italian cardstock, 'tintoretto gesso', which has a wonderfully tactile, lightly 'hammered' texture. It is a fountain pen-friendly surface, lovely to write on!
ENVELOPES
4 ribbed kraft envelopes are included: C6 size.
PACKAGING
Each set is presented in a simple, self-seal cellophane packet.
