I HAVE MADE SEVERAL SAILING BOATS OR YACHTS USING CORNISH DRIFTWOOD AND OLD ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP, NORTH WEST NORFOLK AS SAILS. THE MAP WAS ONE OF THE LANDRANGER SERIES, No. 132 AND WAS 1:50,000 SCALE.
THIS ONE HAS THE VILLAGES OF HOVETON, WROXHAM, POSTWICK, BRAMERTON AND ROCKLAND St. MARY ON THE MAPS.
ALL THE WOOD WAS FOUND ON BEACHES IN CORNWALL THIS YEAR, THE SAILS HELD ON USING RECLAIMED FLORISTS WIRE.
IT IS 8" LONG BY ABOUT 10" TO THE TOP OF THE MAST.
I WILL POST IT USING RECYCLED PACKAGING.
THERE ARE SEVERAL MORE VERSIONS, ALL HANDMADE AND DIFFERENT.
PLEASE NOTE, THEY AREN'T TOYS, THEY ARE FOR DECORATION.
