The kingfisher is made from feathers. It has a fabric background and is surrounded by pressed leaves and grass with fabric collage flowers. It has a mount and is in a black frame, with glass. The size is 8" x10"

The original image was made in the 70's when I was selling work through exhibitions on the Wirral. I found I had 15 pictures left, all different. I decided to revamp them by reframing and adding fabric collage flowers which mirrored the intensity of the feathers better than pressed flowers which tended to fade. The blue feathers were from a feather hat I bought in a jumble sale which inspired the kingfisher.
