The Red Mason Bee is a solitary bee, nesting in the crumbling mortar of old buildings.
I first noticed this bee in the brickwork of my home, and was inspired to recreate this as a print!

An original hand drawn and carved lino print depicting a Red Mason Bee, printed in indigo ink on Fabriano Rosaspina archival paper.
