Description

This design is part of my 'Bead and Stone Couture' collection.

Made using quality turquoise, african opals and iolite beads. The central turquoise bezel is made with tiny Japanese seed beads and embellished with tiny iolite, gemstone beads. Strung on a lovely necklace of african opal beads.

Tiny bead-work, which takes many hours to complete!

I love the combination of turquoise and gold - it always reminds me of summer (even in the depths of winter!) - I wanted to make something a little different using a beautiful turquoise cabochon I've been saving...and this was the result: my 'Sunburst' necklace.
