In these difficult times, I continue to work from home. I am only selling items which can be posted via the Post Box which is just outside my gate. I have a stock of stamps and packaging materials and, therefore, can stay open for business without imposing extra risk on other individuals. As usual, accessories featuring original embroidery, in association with felting, hand dyeing and fabric painting may be found in my other Folksy shop - 'Lynwoodcrafts'.
SALE - Previously £16.50.
A decorative textile vessel of pretty patchwork from vintage embroidered linen and printed blue and white cotton fabrics.
A pretty vintage, blue and white, pentagonal base, surrounded by five pentagons - each of blue and white vintage fabric - lined with white, topped with five more pentagons of vintage embroidery with white fabric on the reverse - form this pretty bowl. Each fabric patch is folded over a template of interfacing which remains in place in the completed vessel to add structure.
Can be used as a trinket bowl or for storage. Pictured in use as a vase - I lined it with a recycled yogurt pot to hold the water.
Posted free of charge to uk addresses.
Pentagon side - 4.8 cm approx
Width of base (point to opposite side) - 7.5 cm approx

I love traditional patchwork and wanted to create some decorative items to showcase the pretty embroidery preserved from vintage linen.
