Full description
Nuno felted using natural white (undyed and unbleached) and a blend of natural grey merino wool fibres on a silk chiffon base material. Included in Seconds Sunday as a clearance/end of line item.
Very fine layers of white merino wool have been laid over a silk chiffon base to form the body of this scarf with a blend of natural grey merino wool added to form the border. The scarf has been nuno felted which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The layout and manipulation of the border during the felting process results in a ruffled effect.
A beautiful soft and lightweight scarf in neutral shades making it extremely versatile. The scarf could be draped around the neck and shoulders or tied in many ways. It measures approximately 128cm x 28cm (50.4" x 11")
A lovely scarf to compliment any outfit, smart or casual.
The scarf will be supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with labelling describing the nuno felting process and full washing instructions making it an ideal gift.
