A set of 2 art cards from my own original paintings, entitled The Pear Tree and A Bird in The Hand.

Inspiration
I have several paintings based on the lyrics from The 12 Days of Christmas song, and I have a thing about turquoise (and red!) as you can probably see from looking at my other work.
Trees are one of my favourite things. I love them, and especially when their leaves change colour in Autumn, probably my preferred season. As a child I would always feed the garden birds with my mum, and remain still a keen, amateur birdwatcher, something which my children now also love. I lived for nearly 10 years in a big city in South America, and while I loved the hustle and bustle, the art galleries, the colours, etc, what I most loved and always will, is nature. Where I feel most at peace.
