I was inspired by scrappy Victorian fabric sample books. They always have a lovely thick tactile feel to them which I wanted to translate into a practical item, this evolved into the collage pin case idea. x

Full description
This little case opens out like a book. On the left side is a little pocket to hold small items or possibly threads. (I have placed some items inside the case to illustrate how it could be used). The case will be sold empty.
I have sewn one of my small paintings onto the pocket, it is a tiny fox. The other side has thick layered squares of fabric which you can push your pins and needles into. I wanted to try and make the inside look as textured and interesting as possible. I was influenced by Victorian fabric sample books. There is a thin gold thread to loop around a button on the front. The front and back feature my birdie paintings. The item measures 7cm in width and 8cm in height.
