Full description
This super wet felted vase has been made using a blend of merino wool in a rainbow of colours. The vase has been felted over a resist making it seamless and shaped during the felting process to accommodate a glass bottle insert. It has several fronds extending from the upper edges giving it a real structural feel. After shaping the felt has been slightly stiffened to give it additional strength and help maintain its shape. The glass bottle insert is included in the listing and allows the vase to be used with freshly cut flowers. Note: the felt vase on its own, without the glass bottle, is not waterproof and may lose some shape if allowed to get wet.
The vase stands approximately 22.5cm (9") tall with a base diameter of 7cm (2.75") and the fronds reaching out to approximately 20cm (8") in diameter.
