As usual with my dichroic bowls I've had difficulty photographing this to show you the true colours. That is because the colours change under different lights.

Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
This is fused glass bowl, twice fired to very high temperatures in my kiln, first to fuse all the glass together as a flat circle, 2nd to slump it over a little mould into a dish.
This round dish has an opaque streaky blue glass base. This is topped with 2 shades of turquoise glass in alternating segments. One is iridescent and gives a lovely deep metallic sheen. The other is a transparent glass.
Rather astonishingly when the bowl came out of the kiln the turquoise shades had blended in to the blue and can only be seen by holding the bowl to the light.
I've decorated all the segments with lots of dichroic accents as well as some iridescent dark blue glass. Thid blue bowl shines with hints of purple as the light catche it
A very tactile bowl with magical colour properties.
Perfect for small salads, sweets, your trinkets, jewels or just to decorate your table.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
The bowl measures 13 cm in diameter and is approximately 3 cm deep.
It will be sent smothered in bubble wrap in my rather innovative (takeaway) packaging which can be used as a gift box and also keeps it very safe for postage.
