This is a handmade textile art bird from my own design. He is a mixed media piece, made from various textiles and has been hand finished with stitching details. His eyes are small black beads and he has a beak made from polymer clay. He is stuffed with polyester filling with ceramic balls in the base to balance him and can fit in the palm of your hand. He’s approx 10cm (4 ins) is length, 5cm (2ins) in width and 7cm (2.75ins) height.
This bird would look great on a window ledge, mantelpiece or shelf. However he is not a toy so please don't let him play with children.

I watched one of these looking at itself in a work colleagues wing mirror. It looked stunning so I knew I had to make one!
