I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING ITEMS FROM THIS SHOP TO MY OTHER FOLKSY SHOP 'Lynwoodcrafts' where they will be waiting for you to view them! All my items now feature upcycled, recycled, repurposed or gifted materials and there is no longer any distinction between the two shops!
Bookmarks are always popular in my shops and I have been fortunate to find a set of vintage stencils and identify some new, and very good, fabric pens.

Full description
Vintage waxed paper, stencils combined with fabric from a vintage tablecloth, and some fabric pens, have produced the design used for this cornflower bookmark, with ribbon tails.
The stencilled panel has been edged with blanket-stitch in white cotton thread. The bookmark is backed with 'felt-like' interfacing. Ribbon tails complete the design.
Length of stencilled panel - 15.5 cm approx.
Total length - 21 cm approx.
