In bright sunshine yellow merino wool fibres blended with bleached tussah silk, this nuno felted scarf is gorgeously soft and lightweight. Included in Seconds Sunday as a clearance/end of line item.
The blended wool and silk fibres have been nuno felted to both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric, a process which causes the wool fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
The resulting scarf is designed to drape around the neck and measures approximately 118cm x 40cm (46.5" x 16"). Cool in summer yet warm in winter this scarf would make a lovely addition to any outfit. The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions.
