Full description
An original piece of artwork made from discarded materials and vintage threads, as usual I have made only one. Although, if it sells I may do a couple more in a similar-ish fashion.
£43 from this sale (the amount that would normally go to me, after outside deductions - Paypal, Folksy, postage) will be donated to the Khadija Saye Memorial Fund. Khadija tragically lost her life in the Grenfell Tower fire. The fund will help young artists whose background and circumstances might not grant them access to such support.
The 'towers' have been torn from the front page of the Metro newspaper (see image above) reporting on the fire, and sewn onto handmade paper (from a charity shop), then stitched onto watercolour paper (also from a charity shop).

The piece measures approximately 29 x 34cms (inc border), with an additional small border for your framer to play with. A frame is not included.
The price includes 'signed for' delivery, within the UK.
The overseas postage price, shown below, is for Royal Mail 'International Tracked and Signed'.
