freehand embroidered zombie lion keyring.
these rooooaaarsome miniature fabric zombie lions measure about 9cm (3.5 inches) - excluding crazy mane, hanging loop and split ring.
i’ve layered & appliqued black floral print cotton onto corpse grey hand-dyed calico, and the intricate details are drawn freehand using the free machine (free motion) embroidery technique.
the lion’s eyeballs are hand embroidered.
these little zombies are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine.
everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
the lions are made from heavy weight hand dyed calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if a machine wash is required.
they're stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand.
the grosgrain ribbon is securely double(triple!) stitched.
the split ring is nickel plated steel.
