I remember this cafe from summer visits to my Uncle and Auntie in Glasgow, who lived nearby. My Uncle Johnny used to buy everyone a cone on the way to the park (including Topsy the dog). When someone suggested making it I realised it was an ideal subject for a Lego creation, with a slightly surreal and anachronistic look.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Queens Cafe on Glasgow's Victoria Road has a place in the childhood memories of almost every Southsider. Its famous ice cream made by the Ginesi family and said to be the best in Glasgow attracts queues outside the shop during hot weather.
My Lego model recreates the cafe in 250 mostly red and white bricks. Measuring 15cm by 15cm I've tried to capture the quirky old-fashioned frontage of this classic Glasgow Italian cafe; including the fake ice cream cones in the window display.
I make these to order so there is a five day timescale for posting. If you need it sooner, please let me know. This model is quite fragile, I take every effort to ensure it arrives safely and if I can hand deliver it I will do so and refund the postage costs.
"I love my lego cafe! :)"
