Description

A press-printed linocut of a small sad fish facing the tail fins of a departing shoal.

Printed in black ink (Caligo) on high quality heavy-weight textured paper (Somerset, 250g). It is straight off the press and ready to mount and frame if you wish.

The print is from a small numbered edition (50) and is signed, numbered and dated.

Approximate dimensions (WxH) in mm.:

Paper: 280 x 280
Image: 200 x 200

I can also supply mounted or framed too - please contact me directly.

Inspiration

This image evolved after drawing on the lino sheet set at at an angle. It fostered the idea of being boxed into a corner.

I thought the fish might be sad at losing all its friends. Or maybe they were all scared of it.

You decide.

It hangs well as one of a pair with another print "You'll never guess what happened next..." also in my shop.
