Item details

Medals hangers are made to order, and take approximately 7-10 days to complete. Because they are made to order, they can be personalised with a name or even a race time added.

Each piece of wood is unique, with different grains and knots making your medal hanger truly one of a kind.

The wood is cut, sanded, the design hand drawn and hand burnt with a pyrography tool. The hangers are then given 2 coats of beeswax and 1 coat of finishing wax to enhance the natural beauty of the wood, before the hanging plates are fixed onto the back and the chrome hanger added onto the front.

These medal hangers would make an ideal gift for any triathlete who competes.

Making medal hangers began because of my sons love of running, and all the medals he accrued by signing up to virtual running races. He wanted something personalised that he could hang on his wall with his name and running club on. After that, I received custom orders from friends and I turned my hobby into a business.
