A set of four coasters featuring my illustration of a little wren in the branches of an oak tree, complete with gold acorns. The original drawing is based on a little chap who lives in our hen house!

Coasters are hard wearing and are made from hardboard with a high gloss finish. They are also heatproof and wipe clean.

The coasters are 9cm square and come tied with a bundle of raffia.

Made in Herefordshire, UK.

Packaging - I try to use recycled, recyclable or biodegradable packaging where possible. I avoid plastic and any posting bags I use are biodegradable. If I use bubble wrap it is because I am reusing it from a previous order - any new bubble wrap I use is biodegradable.

It was after seeing the little wren that lives with our chickens in the hen house, that I was inspired to do an illustration based on the little chap. I had also recently heard of an English folk tale called 'How the Wren Became King of the Birds', in which the little wren outsmarts all the bigger birds to win the title 'King of the Birds'. I therefore decided to draw my little wren in a grand oak tree, surrounded by royal golden acorns.
