A lovely gift box with a butterfly decoupaged onto the lid.
I have painted a papier mache heart shaped box duck egg blue on the lid and cream on the inside and gently distressed it. The gift box has been painted inside with duck egg blue paint and it is sealed with PVA glue for protection. The rims of the box are painted with gold acrylic paint and the inside base of the box is lined with floral paper. I have cut out by hand the design of the butterfly and attached this to the lid of the box.
Size matters... the box is 8cm across by 4cm deep.
Ideal box for a special gift.
