Hand Carded Batt, using my hand dyed Whitefaced Woodland wool.
Combed top has been hand dyed in fuschia pinks and greens.
Once dried, I have hand carded the fibres to create this big bouncy fluffy batt.
Laid out flat it is approx 32 x 22 inches, but you can stretch them out further, it will just make it thinner.
Perfect for handspinning yarn, wet and needle felting. These make superb landscape bases.
Whitefaced Woodland is the softest of the mountain breeds, originally from the Pennines.
Micron count ranges from 35-38. Typically a 10mm staple length.
