The walnut base is part of an old xylophone ensemble, as is the brass column that houses the brass decorative feature at the top, and the brass lamp holder.
The base is raised up on four lovely little mahogany shaped legs, that are remnants from an old piece of furniture.
An antique style gold flex runs through the column, then is threaded through some pre-existing holes in the wooden base, to form a unique, decorative feature. There is also a little brass knob on one end, which is purely decorative, and fills in the remaining pre-existing hole in the base.
I think the lamp would grace a mantelpiece or a shelf due to its long, thin shape.
The switch is located within the lamp holder for ease of use.
The lamp is PAT tested and approved, and the filament bulb is included in the price.
Dimensions: 28 x 7 x 46 cms (with bulb)
I made this lamp from various bits and bobs that when combined produce an unusual and elegant Table Lamp.
