Bright cotton fabrics, linen, stitching and wool have helped me create this picture of yachts sailing towards a shore where waves are breaking on the beach.

The picture changes across the lampshade so a 90 degree turn and the story will change.

Fabrics, methods and accessories will change with each lampshade and the picture will evolve over time.

The lampshade is 30cm x 21cm in diameter and the shade is set up as a table lamp.

The light fitting is suitable for UK and EU light fittings can be simply adjusted by removing the central ring for the EU fitting. will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder.
This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe.

Please do not leave in bright sunlight as this will eventually fade the beautiful bright colours.

Where possible use ECO long life light bulbs.

My story changes depending on how I feel.

I have loved putting this picture together as always it is the challenge of translating imagination into fabric and thread. I hope you will love it as much.
