I wanted to make some simple vase shapes that would complement the colours and almost tartan pattern I wanted to paint on it. I think the shape of the vase and the lines and colour work well together.

Full description
This blue hand-painted vase is hand-made from start to finish.
I rolled out the clay with a rolling pin to the right thickness, cut the pieces and assembled into a nice, clean rectangular shape. I hand-painted with very lively blues, creams and shades of turquoise.
It is a perfect little addition to the home, either holding delicate blooms and buds, or just as it is.
The piece measures approx. 10cm high by 6 1/4 cm across by 3 cm deep.
I am very happy to gift-wrap with lashings of coloured tissue, cellophane and ribbons if you would like me to send it direct to someone.
