With so many bracelets available for women, I thought that it was time to redress the balance. Having looked into popular designs and materials, I've settled on masculine picture jasper - healing and spiritually enlightening.

A handmade bracelet for men, created from Jasper stone, with a feature skull bead.
My bracelet has been made from 8mm picture jasper spheres strung together with elastic and completed with a silver tone, chunky metal skull.
17cm (6.7in) and expands to approx 20cm (7.9in) - designed to fit an average wrist.
Picture Jasper is so named because you are meant to be able to see a picture in the marking, often interpreted as a memory or a vision.
The stone is said to encourage ecological awareness, bringing stability and balance as it is a stone of proportion and harmony and helps stimulate creative visualisation.
It also helps to bring hidden thoughts and feelings such as grief, fear, guilt, envy, love, etc to the surface, to be released, therefore bringing comfort and alleviating fear.
Health benefits of wearing jasper include stimulation of the immune system, as well as to help treatment of disorders of the skin and kidneys.
