I have always loved seeing birds perched on wires but never seem to have my camera when I see them! I was out early one morning photographing the Angel of the North and just as I was packing away I saw this adorable little bird hanging out on the power lines. Thankfully he stayed there long enough for me to frame up and get this shot!
