I found this gorgeous pair of vintage copper sieves and thought they would make interesting and effective lamp shades.

Full description
The brass handles are all attached to identical turned wooden stands, that are painted a lovely deep, rich blue.
The stands are finished with a furniture wax for shine and durability.
The sieves make lovely spots of light on nearby walls, through the existing holes.
Each lamp has a brass lamp holder with a switch, and the flex is an antique style gold.
