Full description
This is my interpretation of the Lilac Breasted Roller - the national bird of Kenya and Botswana. I came across these beautiful birds by accident in a book and was immediately drawn to their colourful plumage.
I've hand embroidered this one using a selection of quality DMC embroidery threads on a background of white cotton. The cotton comes from a piece I took from a rarely used white tablecloth (I like to reuse fabrics where I can). The cotton has a lovely feel to it and makes a great base for this embroidery.
The hoop is 4 inches across and can be hung on a wall (using ribbon, twine, string) or simply propped up on a shelf.
POSTING:-
I endeavour to dispatch items within 24 hours of receipt of an order (exceptions being Sundays and Bank Holidays). Delivery within the UK will normally be via Royal Mail (First Class).
Postage outside of the UK will be via Royal Mail's International Standard Delivery.
