A supersized statement piece of jewellery.
This necklace began as simple sketch, inspired by cave paintings and primitive art. Influenced by a cave trip on a Greek island, the name Petalo is loose Greek translation for horseshoe. The original hand drawing was digitally configured and laser cut from sustainable birch wood in the UK. The necklace keeps an organic outline as the original sketch and line drawing has been closely followed.
Inspired by naive art but combined with bold contrasting colours, this necklace is a perfect gift for an arty friend - or treat for your arty self.
Hand painted in almond white, mustard yellow, steel grey and pastel pink. Sealed with a protective enamel finish.
Finished with a silver plated necklace chain with lobster clasp fasten. Ethically sourced and lead and nickel free. Approx necklace length is 50cm including 2cm chain extension. If you require a shorter or longer chain please contact me.
Please note each necklace is made to order and due to monitor settings colours and exact patterning may vary slightly.
