An original mixed media artwork, using acrylic paint, collage from old magazines and clothes catalogues, as well as my own handmade collage elements including handcoiled wire and free machine embroidery. I have also machine embroidered lace around the eges to accentuate the vintage look.
It measures 52.5 x 66 cms including the off-white wooden frame. (See the 2nd and 3rd photos).
it will be securely packaged for transit, sent insured and signed for delivery.

I made this piece on top of the ghost print of a monotype print that I wasn't happy with. The outline of the figure was there, and the original monotype print was called " A Little Bird Told Me." I just let the piece evolve of its own accord, and had fun using lots of different media and taking it to the sewing machine at the end, which is always a bit of a risk when working on almost finished artwork on paper. I was also tidying up my sprawling collection of old magazines and clothes catalogues at the time, and decided to put some of them to good use here.
