If you are a crafter or sewist, I figure its more than okay to have a several needlebooks. I, for one happily have one for each style of needle.
This needlebook will happily hold lots of needles with its four white felt pages. The outer cover is made from a ticking fabric and the front features a happy wee embroidered bee hovering over an appliqued fabric teacup and saucer. The bee is hand stitched with satin stitch and french a knot in DMC floss. The Liberty teacup (Eloise) and saucer (Glenjade) is stitched with free machine embroidery after being firmly attached with Bondaweb on to the ticking fabric.
The inside cover is made with coordinating Liberty fabric (Danjo). Closing up stitches are sewn by hand using invisible ladder stitches. I've also used this stitch to make one fabric strip tie in the coordinating fabric that closes the needle book by wrapping around a handmade oval oak button.
The back of the needlebook features a handmade jammypudding and custard label hand appliqued on to the ticking.
Measurements: approx. 4 inches square, 1/4 inch thick. Ties are approx 6 inches long. Button measures 3cm wide by 3/4cm thick.
PLEASE NOTE: scissors and accessories pictured are not included in the sale.
This item ships as STANDARD which means there is NO TRACKING on this item. If you would like this item tracked please order the TRACKED listing to upgrade your shipping costs.

I love bees (I really do) and this design of a bee happily hovering over a teacup and saucer evolved from my earlier 'Belle' design of and bee hovering over a chorus of flowers. I adore the combination of fabric with colourful embroidery too.
So my 'Belle' design (like many others) started out as a brooch until a lovely customer requested a custom scissor fob. Later another customer requested a needle book to match. I also designed a version for a pin cushion with two bees blethering away.
It has been a very popular design which I have been selling as a made to order item for a couple of years. I named the design in honour of the lovely lady who first asked for a sewing accessory and started me on this road of selling sewing and crafting accessories for all you lovely folks.
I don't need any excuse to use Liberty fabric so it was the obvious choice for an appliqued teacup and saucer stitched with free machine embroidery and made all the better with an embroidered be nearby.

SHIPPING: All items will be sent within three days after payment is received. All items will be sent via Royal Mail from the UK with a Proof of Postage receipt. You will receive notification when your order ships. Items sent within the UK will be posted as Second Class as in my experience there is little difference between First and Second regarding postage times. This does not apply to international orders. Expected delivery dates are around two to three days for UK. International dates are from five to ten working days but can be considerable more if sent in busy periods or any custom delays. Please get in touch if you have any concerns about delay. PLEASE NOTE: I am not responsible for items once shipped. Refunds will be made on wrongly sent ITEMS ONLY not on shipping costs and I will only accept returned items with postage paid by the customer with proof of postage. I would highly recommend upgrading as I can do absolutely nothing to help find an untracked item. Royal Mail do offer compensation for lost and damaged items, STANDARD shipped items are up to £20 and TRACKED up to £50 and although you, the customer, are responsible for making any claims, I will have Proof of Postage for you to use in your claim. I highly recommend, therefore that you upgrade shipping on items/orders especially if the value is over £20 to cover any loss or damages. Royal mail do not consider an item lost until after 10 days in the UK, 20 days for Europe and 25 days for the rest of the world PAST the due delivery date. Any tax, duties or other custom fees incurred on arrival are the buyers responsibility. Postage prices cover postage and packaging, as well as my time travelling to the post office. PAYMENT: I accept payments through Paypal and items will ship once paid within the stated times on listings. Please make sure your Paypal and Folksy account addresses match. Any custom orders will be paid upfront before making. Items are handmade by my fair human hands and therefore designs may vary slightly. I do my very best to describe my designs accurately and to photograph detail so you know exactly what you are getting. Always feel free to contact me for more information on designs. If you are unhappy with your order or feel it is wrong, please contact me immediately and we can discuss the best resolution. Returned items must be sent back in the same condition as sent. *Items are made in a smoke free but cat friendly home.*
