Handcarved in the Scandinavian style from Welsh Cherry wood, this small bowl can be used for serving food, eating from or as a display item.
As is usual here, no power tools were used during the carving process, just hand adze, gouges and sharp sharp knives.
The bowl is 15 inches in total length and the bowl area is 8 inches long by 4 inches wide.
It has been treated with food grade linseed oil but if it's for display rather than use, then a beeswax polish would bring out the grain and carving facets to great effect.
