Inspiration
This is the title image from my exhibition at the Meffan Gallery in 2013. I chose the fairytale Little Red Riding Hood as inspiration for my own coming of age tale. In my story the main character is 'Blue' who wears a blue cloak. Her cloak is a symbol of the knowledge and strength passed down from the women before her. The tail marks Blue's journey to true adulthood through sacrifice for wisdom.
