This listing is for a KNITTING PATTERN in PDF to make the Snowflakes Cowl pictured and NOT the actual item!
The cowl has ribbed welts with a rolled edge at the top and bottom and a stocking stitch Fair Isle snowflake repeat pattern encircling the body of the cowl. The snowflake motifs are worked using only two colours in a row which makes this an ideal pattern for those new to the Fair Isle technique. A pop of colour has been added by using a small amount of red yarn and a few beads add sparkle! The cowl pictured is worked using a lovely soft pure wool yarn in worsted weight.
Sizes: To suit: Toddler (Child : Teen/Adult);
circumference 44(49:53)cm/17(19:21)in, height 13(15:17)cm
The instructions are for knitting in the round, however, I have included some notes for those wishing to convert for knitting flat.
This cowl would make a lovely set with my Woolly Snowflakes Hat pattern.
