Full description
A fabulous lightweight and soft scarf. This scarf has been made using natural (undyed) grey merino wool fibres on a grey silk chiffon base. The floral design has been created using various wool and silk fibres. The scarf has been nuno felted which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. This scarf has been felted on both sides with the floral decoration added to one side only.
The resulting scarf is amazingly soft and warm but still lightweight. It measures approximately 172cm x 33cm (68" x 13") making it long enough to wrap around the neck for extra warmth.
This scarf would look amazing teamed up with any outfit and would make an ideal gift. It is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions. An upgrade is available as a separate listing in my shop allowing it to be packaged in a kraft card window presentation box making it an ideal gift..
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
