Full description
Through the Forest is an 'altered book' which means it began as a second hand, hard backed book. I added paper,, cut away paper and drew illustrations. The result is a book with layered pictures - layers of a forest.
The illustrations feature a woman walking through the trees beneath a full moon. Deeper through the pages a badger emerges from it's den and a couple of deer look on. There are ten illustrated pages altogether.
The book measures 22 cm x 28 cm (8.5 inches x 11 inches) when open and 22 cm x 13.5 cm (8.5 inches x 5.5 inches) when closed.
It is a book to display open or handle and delve into.
It'll be wrapped in bubble-wrap and brown paper and it'll be sent by recorded delivery for a UK sale or by standard methods for elsewhere.
