This new stained glass heart suncatcher is the perfect way to say "I Love You" on Valentines Day. Not only that but it would also be a lovely way to say "I Love You" on Mothers Day, a birthday or any time you want to express such a sentiment.
Individually handcrafted using traditional methods the stained glass heart was cut by hand and smoothed to give the perfect shape before the copper foil was applied. The silver coloured wire spirals were all made by hand to embellish the red stained glass heart. Solder was then applied to the copper foil and the wire spirals attached in the design you can see. The whole piece was cleaned, washed and polished before the beaded link and silver plated chain with the hanging ring are attached.
When hung this piece measures about 27cm long (almost 11 inches) and 9.5cm or 3.75 inches wide.
