Full description
A beautifully soft and lightweight poppy scarf. This scarf has been nuno felted using soft green merino wool on a silk chiffon base with a poppy decoration added on one side prior to felting. The scarf is felted on both sides with the decoration on one side only. Nuno felting is a process which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
The wool has been added in a very fine layer maintaining the sheer nature of the silk chiffon while adding warmth and softness to the material.
This dress length scarf has been designed to drape around the neck and measures approximately 122cm x 38cm (48" x 15"). It comes packaged in a kraft card window presentation box labelled with information about the nuno felting process and washing instructions making it an ideal gift.
A stunning accessory to any outfit, smart or casual.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water and reshape while damp. Press on a warm setting (wool/silk) or using a pressing cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
