I first made this range for an exhibition in 'Theatre Clwyd' Mold called 'inside out' where I put smaller orbs inside bigger ones and used the pierced cut out detail to see the inside from the outside. These were very popular so I continued to make them, displaying them on steel rods for the annual sculpture exhibition at 'Mount Pleasant' Kelsall, Cheshire.
Now I sell just 2 sizes Small and Medium in a variety of colours. All high fired glazes making them frost resistant, however they should not be left on standing water because if this freezes it may shatter the Orb.

Full description
Handbuilt small stoneware sculpted orb suitable for use inside and outside. Frost resistant, however, should not be left in standing water which may freeze. Various colours and glazes some shiny, some quite matt. All orbs hand built in 2 pieces and joined together before being hand carved and pierced. Orbs are then fired to bisque (1000 degrees) then glazed with vibrant high temperature stoneware glazes to 1270 degrees in my electric kiln.
