I've been wanting to make busts for a while. But the sizes of my work felt too large. I recently made some highly detailed minis and now the pieces have joined together. A mini bust! This is a handmade, quirky, fun and unusual piece of textile art. And it's small enough to be placed anywhere. Hope you like him!

Welcome to the listing of my stylish Dalmatian bust. This is a handmade, stitch sculpted fun bit of original art.
The dalmatian is made from unbleached cotton and his spots I painted with textile paint. He has glass eyes and wired ears. He's wearing a lovely, upcycled, stripy top and contrast that with his favourite hot pink Harris tweed cap. He sits beautifully on a waxed piece of oak and is bound to bring a smile to your face.
This piece measures 26cm from top to bottom.
I cut all my pieces free hand and without any patterns and it's amazing to see how the character emerges from a simple material such as unbleached cotton.
