I was inspired to create this piece from my mum's description of the sight of a ghost-like barn owl, flying silently in front of her car as she drove down a country lane one night.

I have only once experienced an owl flying near me and I was amazed by the silence.

Full description

A limited edition screen print.

Created from a hand drawn illustration, this artwork has been hand screen printed in three colours using water based inks on 300gsm Fabriano 5 paper.

The petrol blue background is over printed with white (giving a slightly off white effect) and the detail is printed in black.

Paper size: 50 x 50cm

Image size: 40 x 40cm

Limited edition of 25 prints.

Please note: Frame not included.

This print will be rolled in acid free tissue paper and packaged in a strong cardboard tube for delivery.
