Raw unpolished ruby Core earrings
These sterling silver earrings have been beaten and fused for texture, they have an oxidised satin finish to highlight the texture and markings.
I have topped them with a pair of handcut matte pink ruby beads that add a nice weight and swing. The stones are irregular handcut rondelles, roughly matched for size and weight.
They hang from handmade hooks, but you can have lever back hoops or 15mm Creole hoops if preferred.
The silver squares measure 18mm 3/4" and the total drop including the hook is approx. 4.5cm - 1 6/8"
Hallmarked at the london Assay Office.
