Full description
A perfect pair of earrings for your winter wardrobe in a crisp Scandinavian style. These sweet studs are made from aluminium which I have dyed red and printed with a snowflake design. The dye is sealed in so that it is permanent and I have cut out the disc shape and filed it all by hand. I have domed the discs so that they have a subtle concave appearance. Finally, I've drilled holes for the sterling silver studs to feed through. It's not possible to solder aluminium so the studs are held onto the ear by pressure from the butterfly at the back.
The studs shown in the picture are an alternative to the normal flat studs that I use.
The discs measure approximately 13mm in diameter.
