A gorgeous grey scarf with vibrant poppy decoration made by nuno felting soft merino wool onto a silk chiffon base.
A very fine layer of natural grey merino wool has been nuno felted to both sides of a grey silk chiffon base material and a decoration of red poppies has been added to both ends on one side prior to felting. The nuno felting technique causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The resulting scarf is super soft and lightweight. Due to the fineness of the woollen layers it maintains much of the sheer nature of the underlying silk while adding warmth and softness.
The scarf measures approximately 190cm x 40cm (75" x 16"), long enough to wrap around the neck for extra warmth.
A striking addition to any outfit the scarf is supplied in a gift box, complete with information about nuno felting and washing instructions, making it a fabulous gift idea for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
