This pretty ocean blue brooch is from my 'Little Piece of Art' Project. The brooch is made from hand made felt using lovely Finnish wool . To build up the texture I've used machine and hand embroidery using silk and metallic thread . The brooch is finished with a tiny ocean blue metal rose embellishment.
This pretty brooch measures 4.5cm x 4.5cm and has a safety clasp on the back.
Due to differences in monitors there may be some slight colour variation.

All my items are made in a pet and smoke free home.

I've really been inspired by this Little Piece of Art Project which aims to create individual tiny pieces of textile art. This year I was lucky enough to visit to the Greek island of Santorini where the sea is unbelievably blue and this brooch reminds me of this beautiful place.
