Picasso! A very pretty black and multi-toned beanie or slouchy crocheted hat. Which could be worn by either a lady or a gent.
The Picasso yarn for this crocheted hat is wonderfully soft and is perfect shade for those who Classic black but with a hint of added interest in the integral coloured tones and rainbow effect splashes of a painters palate.
This lovely hat is washable with care in cool water, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.
The slouchy, or beanie is a classic style. Crocheted on a large hook to give a loose stitch and in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, so there are no seams or joins in the body of the hat. The approximate measurements for the hat is that it has a diameter of approx 28cms, with an opening diameter of approx 16cms when the yarn is relaxed. Can be worn with or without a tunover edge.
I do not work from patterns, everything I create is from my own imagination and totally unique.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This lovely black,and multi-toned hat will go with so many outfits, perfect for the autumn & winter seasons & any one who loves unique & bespoke items.
