This design was inspired by a holiday on the Argyll island, Colonsay. The white beaches and tuquoise water were gorgeous. In my design I have drawn into the glaze to represent the ripples on the sand and when possible the glaze is applied in such a way to represent the movement of the water.

Full description
A handthrown earthenware jug for the breakfast table. If holds just over a pint of milk which (certainly in our family) is enough for everyone's milk requirements in cereal and cups of tea. Glazed in turqoise green and white.
Colours vary in shades of green and turquoise due to variations in kiln firings. Matching mugs and bowls are also available.
Designed by Pauline Beautyman in Sea Drift Pottery Studio, Argyll
